Architect I/Unlicensed Design Staff
RMC Architects is seeking an Architect I / Unlicensed Design Staff 2 to join our team in Bellingham, WA. As a motivated and creative staff member at RMC Architects, and in partnership with Senior Architects and Principals, you are responsible for the issuance and content of deliverables, technical content of documents and coordination of disciplines including consultants utilizing a REVIT based platform. You are an excellent collaborator with other design and construction team members to develop appropriate design solutions and to implement those design solutions from initial conception through the construction documentation and administration process for multiple projects. You possess strong knowledge of design, trends, and construction administration. Strong communication skills and the ability to take artistic and technical direction with a positive attitude will foster your success. It is expected that you will be able to work independently and to creatively solve problems while also collaborating with a team on a broad mix of community based projects.
Along with strong communication, organizational, and team work skills, this position ideally requires Architectural Licensure (or are on the path towards it), a minimum of 3-5 years design experience including commercial/institutional projects, proficiency with REVIT, working knowledge of Sketchup, AutoCAD, and all Microsoft Office applications.
